How to pretend that you can cook Asian noodle soup

This Asian ramen noodle soup looks delicious, right? I have cooked several times for my German friends, they all love it!

I will show you how to prepare this noodle soup even if you are not good at cooking at all.

Ingredients for 1 portion:

  • 1 packet instant Shin Ramyun (This one is sooooo popular that you must find it in every Asian shop)
  • 1 tomato
  • 3 shitaki mushroom (or other mushrooms)
  • vegetables like spinach, Chinese cabbage or pak choi
  • 1 egg
  • several slices cooked pork belly or ham (you find them in every normal supermarket.)
  • seaweeds (optional, from Asian shop)
  • Kimchi (optional, from Asian shop. If you like spicy soup, Kimchi would be wonderful.)
  • Spring onion or chives for garnish

Instant noodle 3

  1.  Put tomato, mushroom and Kimchi into 600mL cold water and heat them together.
  2. When the soup boils, add all the contents of the packet Shin Ramyun and cook for 2 or 3 min.
  3. Then add vegetables and seaweeds and cook for another 1 or 2 min.
  4. Fry an egg, sonny-side up. 🙂
  5. Arrange the noodle soup, done!

You can definitely impress your guests with this Asian ramen soup, trust me.
