Christmas market Aachen — Part 2

The most beautiful Christmas market in Germany and the 2nd best in Europe 🙂

http://www.europeanbestdestinations.com/christmas-markets/

Every year before Christmas the squares and streets round the Cathedral and the Aachen Town Hall are transformed into a paradise of lights and colours, festive sounds and seductive smells. The glorious fair in the Christmas City, which has been erected with great care and sentiment, fascinates both the young and the old. The enormous choice between original, stylish and precious goods makes small and big dreams come true.”

How to pretend that you can cook Asian noodle soup

Instant noodle 1

This Asian ramen noodle soup looks delicious, right? I have cooked several times for my German friends, they all love it!

I will show you how to prepare this noodle soup even if you are not good at cooking at all.

Ingredients for 1 portion:

  • 1 packet instant Shin Ramyun (This one is sooooo popular that you must find it in every Asian shop)
  • 1 tomato
  • 3 shitaki mushroom (or other mushrooms)
  • vegetables like spinach, Chinese cabbage or pak choi
  • 1 egg
  • several slices cooked pork belly or ham (you find them in every normal supermarket.)
  • seaweeds (optional, from Asian shop)
  • Kimchi (optional, from Asian shop. If you like spicy soup, Kimchi would be wonderful.)
  • Spring onion or chives for garnish

Instant noodle 3

  1.  Put tomato, mushroom and Kimchi into 600mL cold water and heat them together.
  2. When the soup boils, add all the contents of the packet Shin Ramyun and cook for 2 or 3 min.
  3. Then add vegetables and seaweeds and cook for another 1 or 2 min.
  4. Fry an egg, sonny-side up. 🙂
  5. Arrange the noodle soup, done!

You can definitely impress your guests with this Asian ramen soup, trust me.
