This week in photos

I got these beautiful flowers outside my door. How nice that summer is here. 🙂

This is why I love cooking! Just looking at these colors make me so happy. ❤

A very delicious dish with mixed vegetables and chickenwings.

Gemüse Pfanne mit Hühnerflüge

I am not a bread fan, but this german multi grain bread is really tasty (and also very healthy).

Office casual outfit with my new heels:

Mango-Banana Smoothie

Mango Banane Smoothie

Recipe for 2 portions:

  • 150 g Mango
  • 1 Banana
  • 100 mL Milk
  • 100 g Plain Yoghurt
  • 1 Tbsp. Honey

Make a meal in mexican style within 20 minutes

1. Put chicken wings in oven (preheated at 220°C). After this you can prepare the salad and Guacamole dip.

2. Salad, I use cherry tomato, cos lettuce and  romaine lettuce (+ your favorite dressing).

3. Guacamole, my favorite dip for tortilla chips. The Avocado should be very ripe otherwise it is not delicious. I only  use some salt, pepper and lemon juice for my guacamole to enjoy the maximum taste of Avocado.

4. After 20 minutes the chicken wings are finished.

Don’t forget Corona! 😀

Paris — Sacré-Cœur

The Sacré-Cœur Basilica ( Basilica of the Sacred Heart ) is another very popular attraction. From here you can enjoy the panorama of Paris.

Paris — Marche Bastille

Bastille Market (Marche Bastille) is the biggest Sunday market in Paris for frish and special ingredients.  It is specially attractive for me because I love cooking and I am always interested to visit the local markets on my trips. Take Metro 1,5 or 8 to the station ”Bastille” and the market is only 50m from the Metro station.

I am always very exciting when I see frish ingredients with top quality. The market didn’t fail me. All the sellers were so nice and friendly even we spoke no French and they no English. The highlight: I ate fresh oysters  ❤ . Last time I ate oysters was almost 4 years ago, I still remember how expensive they were. But here on the market they were really cheap, 9 oysters for 11 €. The seller was a very beautiful girl and she opened them immediately for us and served them on sea grass, interesting 🙂 . Mmmmm… yummy yummy!

Paris — Arc de Triomphe

The Arc de Triomphe at night:

Arc de Triomphe

It was at Saturday night, around 11 pm, but the Champs-Elysees was still very crowded. The football fans celebrated the triumph of their team: Paris Saint-Germain. They drove just crazily, ignoring all red lights. Later came many police men to keep order. Two police men told us very kindly that we should not stay on Champs-Elysees any more because it would be dangerous for us. They even reminded us to take care of our cameras and handbags. I have heard about the safety problem of Paris before, but I was still surprised since Champs-Elysees locates in the city centre and I thought it should be ok.
