Old windmills and my ”new” vintage bag

Last weekend I was in Netherlands and didn’t have internet access. Sorry!

The reunion with Alice (a classmate of middle school) last weekend was just amazing. We were in Amsterdam, Den Haag, Kinderdijk and Delft within 2 days.  It wasn’t the first time for both of us in Netherlands, but it was the first time that we were together here. Before my Singapore trip six weeks ago we had not seen each other for 13 years! Now she is on a business trip in Netherlands and I am living near the border between Germany and Netherlands so we decided to take the chance and travel together.

Everyone knows the windmill is the symbol of Netherlands. The 19 windmills built in 18th century make Kinderdijk an UNESCO world heritage site. It is really worth spending a few hours in this lovely village. ( for more information: http://www.kinderdijk.com/ )

Have you noticed the small leather bag? 🙂  I got it in a second hand shop last Friday. That is why I call it my ”NEW”bag. I love vintage bags because the old leather products look really cool and you don’t have to be afraid if someone else has the same as yours 😀
